KISS OF DEATH
Her brown eyes wide and awake,
full of possibility.
His eyes tired and glum,
evidence of his wrong-doings.
She goes to church,
he goes to parties.
She gets straight A’s,
while he never glances at grades.
With all their differences,
they do have one thing in common.
One place familiar to them both:
SCHOOL.
Innocent Pastor’s Daughter meets Rebel Biker.
Occasional “hey’s,” turn into small conversations,
that grow into long talks.
Daddy’s discouragement, Biker’s convincing.
She sneaks out and feels the thrill,
He holds her close, intertwining her soft hair in his rough fingers.
He turns her face towards him, places his lips on hers,
The taste of the last joint on his teeth,
In that instant she falls for him, the one thing she thought she could never have
is in her arms. With that one kiss, she is hooked, he’s got her.
He delivers the Kiss of Death.
