The Solution to Masochism

lovely alabaster bird
flies around my head
he tells me things
with his vociferous mouth
he knows this won’t work
but he’s not real
so his words can’t be either
but there is truth
in our discourse
I can’t conform
to your ideals
please don’t conform to mine
you’re not quite the sadist
my masochism craves
maybe you’re the masochist
no one would stick around
for as long as you have
and maybe you’re actually gone
and I just can’t admit it
but maybe, just maybe
you’re the solution

I really like your phrasing, its very interesting, i like that it doesn't lay out the entire picture of what your talking about
