I Like
I like standing in the summer rain,
Thunder crashing and enlightening the street.
I like listening to the noise of the waves,
Lying on the hot sand of the beach.
I like eating cherry ice cream
While dancing down the streets of Malcesine
At summer evenings.
I like feeling the wind playing with my hair,
When sitting on a sailing boat
Singing old songs with my best friend.
I like the moment you both know you will kiss,
Listening to your heartbeat,
Getting faster and faster.
I like sitting at a piano, placing your fingers,
And beginning to play.
Just for your own.
I like the moment before you step out on the stage,
Blinded by the light,
Saying the lines burned in your memory.
I like dancing in a club with hundreds of people,
Feeling the bodies moving next to your,
Only feeling the music streaming through your body.
I like watching the most beautiful sunset,
And experiencing peace.
That’s what makes a normal day special.
