I miss you.
I remeber being small as you held me in your arms
Playing in the back yard, you made me feel so strong
Riding in the back of my favorite big, red truck
Putting alcohol on ant bites, if it worked we were in luck
Listening to your stories always made me feel much better
Just like how mom couldn't marry someone 50 miles out of Metter
But now we won't be making memories, I can only remember
For many reasons I want you here still, I wish God would reconsider
You are better off, that's what they seem to say say
I realize this but I wanted you here to see my wedding day
But now I know it's time for me to say my last "goodbye"
Although I know I'll see you again somewhere down the line
