Desperate
The princess is high up in her tower.
It’s making her stronger.
She is fragile.
A ticking time bomb.
They think it’s wonderful.
They all stare up at her.
It’s practically criminal what they have done.
They locked her up
But she’s still fighting
While they think that they have won
and somehow contained her.
She was fragile, she is famous.
She thanks you for staring in her window
Because while you are looking up at her
to see if she’ll appear
you are stylishly unaware
that she is on the run.
She thanks you for making her stronger,
for locking her up.
It has been fun.
