So Sad
It's so sad to see a child,
Neglected and starved of love,
Whose innocence has been taken away,
By the screaming of those parents,
Who they have started to cling too,
Running and hiding in dark spaces,
Waiting for the terror to be over,
It's just so sad to see them,
Alone and by themselves,
The children who will become the adults,
That do the same thing to their own,
Because of the simple fact of life,
It goes around in circles,
Repeats itself again and again,
Unless we stop it and help them,
Regain control of what was taken from us,
Since it's so sad to see,
A child so helpless and alone.
