My Ithika
I am on a journey that many people do not seek.
My mind has knowledge that some people can not obtain.
My heart beats with my soul right behind it.
I want to be the best, at whatever I do in my life.
I want to pursue the greatest achievements possible
To know that I am king.
I want to be successful and get lots of riches.
But before all of that my journey begins.
I go to college, I do my best there.
At that time I will be 19 years old.
My adulthood is taking me over
Like a poison flowing through my veins.
I would like to find the love of my life
And she will be my queen.
We will get married and devote our souls to each other.
After that happens, we will fornicate to have our first born.
He will either be strong like his father or wise like her mother.
I want my own flesh and blood to know
That I will always be there for them, even if I am weak.
The end of my journey finishes when my heart
Stops beating because God said, it was my time.
I will be six feet under and above will be my family,
Standing on Earth, the place I used to live.
I want my journey to last long enough to see that
I have done my part in this world.
I will have no enemies for I am kind.
My phobias will be short.
As I overcome my fears and worries,
People will know I am strong.
Close to the end, I want my queen by my side,
Holding my hand, whispering in my ear,
“You have served; you have served well my king.
Tomorrow is another day.”
I wish for my children to gain knowledge
That will unlock the mysteries to life.
When they do that, I will be proud and
My journey will end for me.
Through out my journey I will learn that,
Life is not about finding yourself,
Life is about creating yourself.
That is my Ithika.
