The one phrase that kills me
I walk in
All i see is you
You walk over pick me up, i am spinning
High above the earth, i am flying
Loveing your touch
But i know at some point, i will hear that phrase
It is like a dagger and you drive it through my heart without knowing
The posionus words sit on your lips waiting for someone to walk over and ask
"Are you guys going out?"
I choke back the tears and hold my breath
And i open my mouth to say those deadly words
But you beat me to it, saying it out of routine with no feeling
"No, were just friends."
