The place i am
Every minute it’s getting harder for me to breathe.
No one can tell that I’m slowly dying.
Out in the world I fake a person that I’m not.
I have to keep it up without getting caught.
Even writing this right now is making tears run down my face.
But this place I want to escape.
If I knew where I was I would ask you to rescue me.
I guess this is where years of pain leads.
Please! I don’t know where I am but find me!
I can’t take it. I’m alone in here! I don’t think there’s enough air left!
Am I held captive!?
Am I writing this to you my beholder!
Why are you doing this to me!
What did I do to be in this place?
WHAT DID I DO!
Why is there a silence!?
For no one knows why I still remain in this prison.
Help me, help me find a way to escape.
Spare my heart. The rest I have of it.
Didn’t you see enough blood?
I know you have because I can taste it apron my tongue!
I see a pair of eyes look through the bars on my prison doors.
You! Who are you?
Why are you smiling at me!
Do you like to see me suffering?
I beg you let me out! I don’t know what I did, but please forgive me!
I’m on my hands and knees begging for your forgiveness.
Why do you wish not to speak a word?
LET ME OUT!
The door slowly opens.
Show your face you coward!
Let me see who kept me prisoner for so long.
I walk towards the door and let my hand run down a long mirror.
What is this!?
Who is the one playing these tricks?
I look back to see that my reflection never moved.
Am I the beholder?
A smile spreads across the reflections face, which is my own.
This could never be!
Did I always have the key!
So I guess the person who is reading this.
That you could never save me,
Because I was the one who was hurting myself.
So it’s only plain to see that I needed to realize that sometimes
I could be my own worst enemy.
