first impressions

i thought i loved you
i thought you cared
if i was wrong i'm sorry
but you said you loved me
and always would
you said you would wait
as long as we needed
now i see all you wanted was not me
but my body
so i'm sorry
but i can't accept that
i thought you would be the one who really cared
i guess first impressions can be wrong

i like it. what you need to work on though is making your words flow. maybe its just me or something but when i read it, the sentences or phrases start abruptly and it ruins the poem. other than that i think its good.
