Foreign
Sometimes
These fingers don’t feel like mine
Sometimes
These lips don’t feel like mine
Sometimes
Things feel wrong
My hands feel strained
Unfamiliar
I can’t move them
It’s hard to type
It’s hard to write
They aren’t mine
My mouth is strange
The words come out
Jumbled and nonsense
My tongue disobeys
My lips deviate
They aren’t mine
I feel lost
Trapped
This body refuses me
It doesn’t comply
It can’t be mine
So how did I get here?
Who did I kick out?
Why does everything
Feel so
Foreign?
