Take a Minute
Take a minute and see that everything might not be as it seems.
In the blink of an eye someone can be gone.
And like a good song it has to come to an end.
But what do you do if you don’t like it’s ending?
You don’t have the power to create a new one.
But you just have to deal with it.
Is it the same with life?
Do you just have to deal with it?
How about if the feeling is too unbearable?
And you no longer can find the air to breathe.
That everyday you have to wake up and look at their face.
Knowing that their not promise another day.
How do you deal!?
Can you look them I the eye and really tell them that everything will be alright?
Can you smile when they catch your gaze?
Can you convice yourself that everything will be ok?
No, you cannot “deal” with it as they say.
You struggle for help.
But why is it everyone turns their face?
This is too much to overcome just with one person fighting be themselves.
I need support, but support will never prevail.
God!
I come to you on my hands and knees.
Father, look over this family and guide us through this hard time.
I’m sorry that I’m screaming so loud! I just want you to hear me!
I know father that I’ve done bad deeds in my past.
Please forgive me.
I know that I’m not the type of person that should be asking favors from you.
But help me father!
Help us! We can’t do this by ourselves!
Wasn’t it you who said that if you help yourself you will receive help from others?
When does that help come god!? Because we cannot wait any longer!
I’m out of words and out of breath.
But still I have to continue to fight.
I’m on the war line with my mother and father by my side.
But is that enough to fight a war?
We did not declare this, but this was placed apron us.
All we have left to do is fight.
And it has became a demand.
But god when are you going to send help?
So victory can be in our hands.
