You come up to me
and you ask "why did you send me a good-bye"
and
I always say "Sometimes Good-bye is a second chance"
I need to say good-bye
because i am not totally over you
and i walk away
You keep following me
and eventually
find out my secret
and that secret is me being not over you and me crying when no one is looking
You come up to me and say
Victoria, look at yourself you are a mess
I know you may not want to talk but
i know that you don't want to say good-bye
and i tell him that the truth is that
i don't know what i want
to be honest with you
I am not totally over you
but there is someone else that i like too
and rate now
Good-bye is the best move for me
and i don't care because
like my grandmother
has always said
Good-bye is a second chance
to make things right and to figure out what path
life will take you
and
As I am starting to walk away
you tell me that "All he ever wanted for me was to be happy"
Than he takes me
by suprise and
kisses me
and tells me
that sometimes
I can't wait for the good-bye to become a second chance
and so to this day
I would tell anyone
that sometimes Good-bye is the key to a second chance
and in this case it did work
And Good-bye is a way to have a second chance
