I Miss You
I miss you, when you're gone.
Do you know that? I bet you don't.
It feels different when you're not there.
Like a tiny little piece of me
is missing.
I walk around, dazed.
I look for you, then remember
where you are. Not here
with me, how it seems you should.
Crazy, isn't it? How quick I fell
into you.
I really don't know how it was before.
Is this what life was-
before me and you? I can't recall...
So I will wait. Wait and count-
month, week, day, hour-
until you return.
To me.
Cataloging the seconds while I'm alone
just thinking of how you feel.
I miss you.
