Is this it?

Darkness falls.
Wind thrusts.
Tornado warnings flash.
Sitting in the basement with your families.
Wondering “Is this it?”

On your surfboard.
Waves high.
You see a creepy shadow.
It can be a shark.
Wondering “Is this it?”

In a car.
Tires squeal.
Heading for a ditch.
Breaks slam.
Wondering “Is this it?”

Walking down the street.
A van pulls over.
Guys step out.
Don’t know what to do.
Wondering “Is this it?”

See, a loose dog.
Sharp teeth.
Growling.
Sensing your fear.
Wondering “Is this it?”

On a plane.
Looking down.
Captain looses control.
Jetting down.
Wondering “Is this it?”

Day by Day.
Is this it??
