You Used to be my Best Friend
Tears flood my eyes
As I listen to the hurtful words
That my “best friend” screams to the world
Calling me such names
I never thought I’d ever hear her say
Especially to me
All the memories of our friendship
Come out from the back of my mind
And it hurts me even more
To think that I trusted her
I came to her with my problems
And now she’s causing the worst one yet
Next thing I know
I’m running
I don’t know why or where
I just know I’m running
Away from my so called best friend
I don’t look back
Now the tears are soaking my face
But I don’t hear footsteps behind me
I only hear her screaming at me
And I don’t even know what I did wrong
