Music
I sit down to my desk
I see the song that fits my situation
my finger touches the mouse
I am in control
The bass makes me stop while moving my eyes
The melody craddles my ears
& their sweet voice fills my body
Just in those couple of minutes I relive my life
My life in that one situation
The situation the song plays
I feel helpless yet important
I am listening to the past, to history
I feel another sense. The sixth sense?
Such a strong feeling
I can't look up or down. Nor do I want to
The music gets slower
The bass, melody, and the sweet voice leave
Now it is just the thought of what just happened
Now I am in the situation again
In real life
I sit down to my desk
I see the song that fits my situation
My finger touches the mouse
