Forgiveness III
I know for sure that in any given time, I'll be dead.
Darkness filled the void,
and all i can feel; blood rushing out my flesh
and air more difficult to gasp.
I can also feel the breeze; colder and colder,
giving me the hint that it's over.
But in my surprise, a sudden flash,
The darkness now turned to blinding light.
Then a soft tender whisper,
saying "If you what chance, don't surrender."
Without hesitation I calmly said yes,
followed by "Please forgive me for all the things I've done."
Silent succumbs the place.
Then the mysterious voice replied,
"You're forgiven, my son."
