What do you see when you close your eyes?
Do you see unimaginable figures, specks of colors, or visions from memories?
Or do you just see darkness?
What do you see when you open you eyes?
Do you see loved-ones, nature, or animals?
Or do you just see darkness?
What is the difference?
When are your eyes closed, and when are they really open?
Maybe when the world is how you imagine it, you are happier.
Maybe when you can control the darkness, life seems admirable.
Maybe you see better when your eyes are closed.

Ah, I like this. The last line was most certianly the best, but the overall poem was pretty good too.

Awesome conversation piece. Wouldn't it be interesting to discuss this in a class of both blind and sighted students?
It might knock down some walls between the two....
