Even through Death
Friend, I ask this of you:
Pick me a rose,
Covered in dew,
Then scatter its petals,
Across Heaven's skies,
Having done this,
Arrange them sweetly,
In the shape of my blue heart,
So that I may look up to see,
Sparkles,
Of tickling dew,
And my lover will see, just as I do,
How beautiful love is,
Heaven or no Heaven,
I'll follow him in Death,
As he would follow me.
