And just stayed smart?
I bet my money
And rolled a die.
I don’t think it’s funny
That it was all a lie.
To a four leaf clover
I gave my luck
Begged for it not to be over
Now I am stuck.
A chance I took
I went the friendship way.
But unlike a book,
The ship sailed away.
What are the remnants?
What was left behind?
Where has everything been sent?
Will I make up my mind?
No one deserves
So why do I give it out,
Like passing hors d’oeuvres?
I send without a doubt.

for me, when i wrote this, it was during a hard time in my life when I was dealing with some friend issues. thx so much for reviewing!

This is very unique, and i appreciate that. This is a great peice with a great message that is great because it can be several different messages at once.... few people have that ability.... appearently *someone* does ;)

I really like this! It has sort of a mysterious flavor to it and made me wonder what inspired you to write this. I think it could mean something different to everybody, which is really cool. You're an incredible writer!
