Brings Me Down
The way she looks at me the way she seems to be always seems to
Bring… Me… Down…
The way she gives me steam the way she dreams for me always seems to
Bring… Me… Down…
Bringing me down just one way closer to making me frown, a two way downer, when we always seem to drown
When we try to stare into each others eyes our hearts sink and our feelings cry
They cry, cry for more, the best we’ve got believe it or not, it’s just when looking for more seems like such a chore it always seems to
Bring… Me… Down…
Bring me down and bring you down the scent of touch and the sight of hearing, time for us to taste the clearing, of consiousness once kept so clean, when it is always so far away
Brings me down to thorny pastures and the love days after expires and rots it bubbles and clots with the does and do nots
Brings me down far away where we all learn to betray
Brings me down to foreign lands where we admit to our dirty hands the empty will win and the full heads will spin
We get lonely and we like to say he or she brings me down all the way, when we’re alone all we can say is he or she brings me up to make a better day
