gravity,
you remove the weight
of the boulders
of the pain
of the emotion
from your soul.
and drop it.
it falls
silently crashing
through
nothingness.
into something.
it lands
it crushes
it smashes down
on the X that marks the spot.
and that spot has the treasure,
as promised
as always promised...
and that treasure is yet another soul.
because you cannot remove the
weight
from yourself
without placing it on
someone
else.
it is impossible
for matter to be
destroyed,
is it not?
so these
matters
of the heart
the mind
the soul
cannot disappear.
My question to you is this:
Would you drop your burden
and leave it for another to pick up?
Or keep the burden?
The boulders crushing down on you
until you are ground into
dust?
