The winding path
Here I am.
Uncertain, unsure, undecided.
Figuring it out.
No one to direct me.
No plan in place.
Free but scared.
So many paths are in front of me,
Winding and twisting, so that I can’t see their destination.
I have to choose.
But how to know which is the right choice?
Take a guess, flip a coin.
Take a leap of faith and just jump.
Believe there’s something (someone?) guiding me.
Am I really ready?
Or am I pretending?
Not a simple choice,
But such a clear decision.
I know what I want.
Question is, am I ready to sacrifice to reach the goal.
Or am I too comfortable in my safe bubble?
The road stretched in front of me;
I’ve made my choice.
