"prey on the old and your a coward
prey on the young and your pathetic
prey on the weak and your even weaker
prey on my friends and your history"
- fearless: payback (book 6) by francine pascal

Through the fog

of my mind

the silence echoes

trapped
by the wall of mountains

That I built up there

since the time

when silence was pain

hurting
lack of sound, lack of life

Hidden away

until clouds become heavy

the rains come down

falling
then tears are gone

Fog floats back

behind the mountain wall

from my mind

trapped
but the silence echoes on

This is metaphorical poem about the way I felt after my dog died. I used nature to help describe it, because sometimes sadness feels like a storm.
