Spring
A dark world
Viewed through clenched lids
Sun kissing pale fragile skin
Warming the still frozen blood
The most minute breeze
as though Earth exhales with a sense of
Serenity
Birds warbling a tune so sweet
The dewey grass chills my feet
The sun again snuggles to my face,
my arms, my body
The once clamped lids flutter
like blinds revealing sunlight
To reveal the bluest of blue
A magnificent sky with the
right spattering of clouds.
I feel
tranquil
peaceful
Spring.
