The Flower of Tomorrow
Isolated in ones self,
Feeling desperate and giving,
Without receiving,
The loving affection
Of another flower.
Days wither.
Nights crumble.
Rain falls from his eyes.
Begging for another chance,
A glance through the thought of future.
To find it will be better,
True happiness.
For tomorrow to feel right,
And the day to be bright.
Without this cloudy past,
That lasts so long.
Pulling with agony,
And screaming with emotion,
Of begging and pleading,
For something to be right.
To feel okay,
And not just another day,
But with the future in his arms,
And it's hopeful smile in his eyes.
That it will be a wonderful day,
With the storms of yesterday gone,
And the flower of today to stay.
