Favorite Quote:
I have lived eighty years of life and know nothing for it, but to be resigned and tell myself that flies are born to be devoured by spiders and man by his sorrows--Voltaire

How many times can you stand almost
And not quite enough?
How many times have you seen
An almost miracle
That just wasn't meant to be?

And did you cry
When you saw the broken hearts
The people standing 'round

And did you try
To mend that sadness
To fix the sobbing clouds

Or did you watch
And turn away
To wait for the next
Inevitable rainy day

I love this poem. It is one of my sadder ones.
