midnight subway thunders like codeine head
so high stamped with dice
find the source of trouble when fugitives fly away and
beautiful supermen lean in with jackets unstained

some young, sexy debutante is asking for
Green
it’s a poster for charity

and the veins pop out here in the midnight subway
and ya see them so clean, their hands like shiny glass

here in the midnight subway
streets mellow in the sound of rain
pattering against windows, hands
Hands. Hands.
the sound of love, windpipes, ecstasy
