drips, splatters
splotches of useless words
burn slowly as the sky cries
its foggy tears

scribbles and scratches
blotting of spills
fill up journals

these illegible scrawlings
pour out of my mind
as the sky feeds
creation below

and just as the tears
of the sky
feed the earth
these scribbles and spills
nourish my heart
