Once Upon A Time
Once upon a time,
Not so long ago
He told me that he loved me
And would never let me go
That story with a happy ending
Took a different turn
I thought that I could trust him but
I guess that’s how you learn
Once upon a time,
Standing by that tree
He told me that no words could say
How he felt for me
Next time that I hear those words,
I’m ending it right there
No stupid little kisses
No playing with my hair
Don’t tell me that you love me
Don’t lie right to my face
Cause once upon a time
He was standing in your place.
