Diary of a Muderer
The diary of a murderer
Is the pages filled with blood and gore
And memories of deaths before
Is his heart frozen over?
Did he not hear their cries?
Or does he think he was doing right
by filling himself with lies
Where does the story starts?
And someone life ends
A good kid with popularity on his mind
With a cloudy judgment that makes him blind
His parents warn him about such friends
But toward his friends he always defends
His parents saw the bigger picture of the path he chose
That his friends were going to turn out to be his foes
He ignored his fears and his mama tears
To follow a dangerous path with his eyes sealed
When he saw that glint of steel
His friends gave him a choice
To learn how to take with a gun
Or to be a punk and run
He choice the path that seem the best
And that was to follow the rest
He went numb as he threatened her
His friends urge him to take it a bit further
And that glint of steel
Became a weapon to kill
Her fear cut through him completely
As he recognized his sin
He realized this is not how you win
he started to turn away
as he heard a loud boom
his fear rose as death loom
Blood was all he could see
Nobody was supposed to get hurt
This is not how it’s supposed to be
As he was found guilty of all charges
He thought this is a night mare
This can’t be real
This is more than I can bear
He tried to get sane
As his mama cried in pain
As the guards dragged him away
He realized that in his life he had a choice
But because he took someone else’s
He lost that voice
Popularity has a cost
Just make sure it isn’t someone life being lost
This is the diary of a murderer
