Why Cry?
Why Cry?
Tears, such complex things
Tiny drops of water shed from a human being
Out of what happiness? Sorrow?
Sometimes it’s a flood
Sometimes it’s a trickle
But, why do we cry?
Do we cry to cry?
Cry because others are?
Cry because of sadness?
Cry because of happiness?
Why cry?
A laugh, so interesting
Some people love to laugh
The sound makes you join right in
Some laughs are high and quiet
Some deep and loud
Some can go on and on, without stopping
But, why do we laugh?
Do we laugh to laugh?
Laugh because other are?
Laugh because of embarrassment?
Laugh because of joy?
Why laugh?
A frown, what is it exactly?
The muscles in your face force the corners of your mouth down, into an unattractive expression
Some frowns make your forehead collapse in wrinkles
Some simply steal the sparkle from your eyes
But, why do we frown?
Do we frown to frown?
Frown because others are?
Frown because of displeasure?
Frown because of anger?
Why Frown?
A smile, so gentle and kind
It can be reassuring, a smile
You see one, and your reaction is to return it immediately
The lips that form it
They can be thin and pale
Or full and bursting with color
But, why do we smile?
Do we smile to smile?
Smile because others are?
Smile because of happiness?
Smile because we want to hide something?
Why smile?
Why?
