My storm of heartbreak
I feel the salty rain drops cascade down my cheeks
I watch as gravity drops them onto my hand
That is clutching the warm metal hanging on a fraying string around my neck
My eyes blur trying to hold the rain in
But it fails and the rain drops fall
They slwoly sink into my skin and disappear
All the pain and sorrow being absorbed
I hear the thunder breaking through
My ears cringe at the sound of it
The choked back girlish scream that is accompanied by a sob
Sounds through out the black sky
The heart break rings out through it
Red lightning strikes against the pale white sky on my arm
It strikes again and again
Viciously engraving red into the snow white of the sky
Slowly the anger in the lightning subsides and the thunder is silent
The salty rain drops fall for a little longer
Then my green clouds produce no more
Finally the storm seems to have subsided
But in relaity it is just raging inside me
