"Fighting Heartbreak and Heartache"
There you sit,
Staring...your eyes cutting threw mine,
There I sit,
Waiting silently, watching...anticipating,
Never knowing when or where,
I sit on the sidelines,
Care, love, cold, hate all in one,
Is this possible?
A heart, so fragile as mine to feel such strong emotions,
Allowing them to run rapidly throughout my veins,
My blood drainng the love from my heart,
Allowing hate to erupt within it's place,
Hate devours memories in it's path,
Living and feeding off one's heart,
Hating is easy,
Loving is hard,
To hate is Satan's way,
To love is God's way,
It's hard when they are fighting,
Fighting a battle neither can defeat,
What's next I ask,
Do I continue to sit and wait,
Or do I begin to stand and move,
When they fight,
They rip at the seams of your flesh,
Tearing and shredding...nawing hungrily,
Tears fall from my eyes,
Dripping and dropping,
Blood fills the empty drops,
They continue to fall quickly,
Scars replace the seams ripped and thrashed open,
The scars become new seams,
Only stronger with the passing of each new and old heartbreak and heartache.
