The Wind
I hear the wind outside, blowing all around.
It runs away like it never wants to be found.
It screams a scream of a hurting soul.
After so many problems, it’s finally taken its toll.
It can hurt everything in its path, and in its way.
Talking little breaks, but not long enough to stay.
It goes when it wants but never gets too close.
It always ends up hurting the things it loves it most.
When the skys turn gray, it cries a light rain.
But stops quickly to not show much pain.
Leaving people’s lives, trying not to make a sound.
I am the wind outside, blowing all around.
