Miles and Miles of:
Excitement for the destination
White clouds covering Earth
The back of the seat in front of you
Turbulence slanting the plane like a saucepan
Miles and Miles of:
Snoring people next to you
Watching those white clouds
Wishing you were on the ground already
Miles and Miles of:
Wondering who is looking up at the clouds
While you are looking down on them
And if you are above land or water
And what land or water exactly are you above
And how many more minutes
Until there are no more miles?
