Colors
My wonderful dream is full of colors,
Red, for the attraction.
Pink, for the lovers blush.
White, for the pure innocence of your words,
Yellow, for the sun bright rush.
I fell in love with the idea of love.
You spoke of trust and romance, and I belived. I
got trapped in the silky web of your lies.
You were as smooth as the eight legged shepard.
Then with one word,
from a smug little bird,
and my beautiful dream fell apart.
I awoke.
The colors were overwhelming.
Black, for the shock in my mind.
Blue, for the loss in my soul,
gray for the emptiness in the shadowed corner of reality,
yellow, mocking me with false joy from beyond the sill.
Tears fall from my empty eyes,
far too much for one who never cries.
You gave me an ear, a lovers embrace,
then it was gone, without a trace.
The revalation of my joy,
became the misery to which I am familiar.
**** you.
