holding a pen
(her weapon of choice)
He shakes her head
tongue tied and defenseless
(He is the offense)
the papers are signed
and sealed shut
He feels like a meteorite
(his metaphor for the day)
bang like a shotgun
(oh another one)
the judge's hammer comes down
"you are now
un-man and un-wife"
its over
