I Sun You
Red sun, falling over, falling in.
You are the color of love,
of blood, of wine, of pomegranate.
I taste you Sun,
dripping down my throat,
Warm, wet, sick sweet.
Setting before my eyes,
you leave me every night.
Faithless, forgotten night,
full of your memory,
void of crimson shine.
Sun, our hearts became intertwined.
Two suns, two souls
wrapped in a coat made of dirt, of trust, of wool, of forever.
I see you, I sun you, I heart you,
I love you,
Rise for me, red sun,
color my insides.
