you're my kind of sky.

blue of blue,
and high of high.

I whispered in your ear one night.

you showered my skin
and made it laugh,

with fragrance from
our pillow dance,

and with those words
of blue of blue,

you whispered back,
it's always been you.

so I tickled your neck
and you left your trace,

of beauty of beauty
singing on my face,

so it turned to romance,
one summer night,

of blues of blues,
and skies of skies,

so I turned myself in,
to being addicted to your scent,

and realized our story,
is near its very end,

so I let drowsy sweep you
and I heard the sun rise,

and I quietly hummed
that you're my kind of sky.

of blues of blues,
and highs of high,

I'll never find another,
with the same color eyes,

of my blues of blues,
and of my highs of high...

and I revel in the fact,
that there's no time to cry,

for when gones of gones
come to pass us by,

I'll sit and remember,
that you're my kind of sky.

Thank you so much! You're the only person so comment on anything, and I really appreciate it! It's a simple poem but I'm glad someone else found a little joy in it. Thanks again, you made my day =]

What a beautiful poem! This is one of the best that I have read in a while; it's written so well. I adore the style and rhythm. Well done with this wonder of wonders. ;)
