Remember December
The sky is gray
The rain is falling down
Just reflections of our broken hearts
And shattered dreams
Blissful ignorance has been replaced
By heartless and cold reality
The world is no longer light
The sun no longer shines
Innocence has fallen behind
Clouded and corrupted by the darkness within
Hate fills our hearts
So that it is almost impossible to remember
December
