“There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.” -Buddha

How can I write
The words I long to say
To scream
To believe
No one would listen
And now I must write
To tell them so
Why must I take this burden
Do the task the rest
Of them despise
Scribble out the
Truth behind the
Thoughts, emotions, we must hide
Someone save me
From my own soul
Beckoning me forward
Have me forget all
All the terror
In this chaotic world
Blood's been spattered
Over our hands
But no one sees
Through their red goggles
Hiding what's really red
Confusing us into death
Take them off
Smash them on the ground
As I've been forced to
Someone join me in my epiphanies
Or let me
Back into your realm
Of ignorance
Bloody ignorance

This piece furthers my views on ignorance and pain overlooked because of it. Just think: How many lives would be better if more people cared about the poor, hungry, and beaten than about football?
