Core of affections
August 20, 2010
I hold you in my heart,
Caressed and treasured.
Tenderly sheltered
From all harm.
I love you forever,
I care for you always.
For you are mine.

Thank you, it's one of my shorter poetry but non-haiku pieces.

BTW, I love the photo, to put things in a generally simple way ;)

Diola lle, I've never thought of it that way, but, like all of my poems, it was very heartfelt. I am glad you see it that way :)

O, this poem is so tenderly written! In its brevity it holds the simplicity and complexity of affection. It was written in such a way that it was almost like the words weren't even there. I was just witnessing love. I... think that's good.
