I Run and I Live MAG
I run and I live
Time falls
Life has nothing to do with minutes
Or miles,
But with blood, with pulses, with shredded breathing.
And thoughts are suddenly clearer but centered on one thing:
The Run
Yet I run and I
Am proud.
For it seems that in the run
Humanity's belligerence is shed
And all are equal.
For she may have won the race
But when she passed me
She said,
“Keep it up.”
