A Memory
So close,
Just a glimpse,
A memory is all I see,
Of what used to be.
I miss the places,
Those familiar places.
All I have to do
Is close my eyes to see,
A rode, a path,
I so often traveled.
I didn't realize,
That I would never
Travel it again.
Anything and everything,
Sends me back,
To this place, I want to be.
This place is now only
A memory to me.
A memory but never forgotten.
It's just a glimpse
Of what use to be.
