This is What Happens
When we lay there’s peace?
When we talk there’s that soft tone
But when we leave, it all changes
I become less, she becomes better
I’m just the mic while she’s the show
But I helped her, I showed her
I was there with her
She has showed me much but who became the better person? Who changed?
I knew she was a hand full I took my chances
She used me, she didn’t need me, she wanted me Yes, but did she really want this
I was a joke to her
She made me that way
She made me realize what I want and what I don’t need
It was all because of her
She didn’t give me a chance
She treated me the same
I was too much for her
I was better than her in some ways
But the sad thing is…I will never find another like her
