Footprints of a song
I can see your footprints
On my clear mind;
Though you’re long forgotten
And your footprints, faded
I know you’re still there,
In the sands, I call “mind”.
One time, now passed
You had breezed into my mind,
Floating like a little feather
Invisibly you walked out of my mind;
I can never think a thought like you again,
You are the song I could never write.
