Forgotten
A girl so broken but she puts on a front. She could walk into a room and her smile will shine through no matter what.
How can this girl give her heart to these people only for it to be shattered to pieces,
how can she keep her head held high when all she wants is for someone to try
She needs that protection and care but for some reason she knows it will never be there
For she is broken but they will never know, she tries so hard to let it go
But she wonders everyday why is she so easy to give away, the words she speaks to these people she meets seem to be put on a pile and thrown away
She gave her heart but it wasn't enough they don't listen they don't care because they aren't bothered by the girl that used to stand there
So she carries on with a forgotten smile and wonders how she was so easy to give away
Hoping one day that she will be taken away longing for the love that she has lost so many times
