The moon is dying on this sorrowful night
The world is changing in this overheated light
The sky in eerie strips of color
A mysterious light comes in one of another
A frozen rose stepped on and crushed
My heart stripped of all of its preciousness and lush
His hand will never be entwined in mine
He'd never want someone of me, for his mind is unkind
He knows his is liked in the eye of beauty
But in the eye of heart...
He and I will always be apart...
